Harris Tweed Notebook Covers – Perfect for Bullet Journalists

HARRIS TWEED NOTEBOOK COVERS FOR THE WIN

So I’ve been making and selling these Harris Tweed notebook covers for a few years now, but a few months ago I tweaked the design a little and added this nice leather wrap tie.  I have a bunch of them made now, and I am already starting to build up stock for Christmas fairs – I know that might sound a bit crazy since it’s July and all, but I am determined not to leave things till the last minute and then be caught short (again).

FOR BULLET JOURNALS, WELL DUH

I have them made in a good selection of different Harris Tweeds with coordinating coloured leather ties, and as usual they come with an A5 casebound lined Pukka notebook, but in the Etsy shop I have given people the option to buy the cover without the notebook just in case they want to use their own A5 notebook instead, and I am thinking specifically of all the lovely bullet journalists like myself, as I’ve found this size goes very well with a Leuchtturm 1917 A5 notebook FYI.  I don’t know why I didn’t see this before, as I have several of these notebooks in the room where I write, and several of the notebook covers in the room where I sew, but never in the same room at the same time.  Weird.  Until today that is, when I suddenly saw them in the same place at the same time and thought, well duh.

Here’s one of my favourites so you can see and compare the sizes

In fact, this cover looks really nice with this Jade coloured bujo, don’t you think, and the other cool thing is that you can still use the elastic band fastener because look, see…

Ok for some reason I got the elastic in the middle which looks a bit weird but you get the idea, and then if you need extra security you can tie the leather cord around the middle!

Here’s what the inside looks like

whoa, really cool strobing effect on the fabric, but it doesn’t really look like that, it’s just the way the light hit it.

LOOK AT THE PRETTIES, BECAUSE WHY NOT?

And then, here’s a few more Harris Tweed covers and a few more of my Leuchtturms because, who doesn’t like looking at the pretty things?

HERE’S WHERE TO GET THEM

I’m selling them in the shop here on the site, but also I sell them in my Etsy shop and I tweaked the listings there so that there’s an option to purchase just the cover so you could put your own A5 notebook inside.  The only problem is deciding which one to choose, but I do like the green herringbone with the jade Leuchtturm!
